Welcome to Komarna in Croatia
The Mediterranean - as it once was
Family and couples holiday - self catering accommodation rental for holiday and vacation in Croatia near Dubrovnik and Medjugorje.

Komarna is a former fisherman's village 70 km north of Dubrovnik and 120 km south of Split. From all over the village you have a spectacular view over reefs, cliffs and small islands to The Peljesac Peninsula in the distance.
Komarna is primarily a summer resort for people from the surrounding cities and there are also apartments and houses available for tourists to rent for a holiday stay.
There are few facilities in Komarna, no organised tourist entertainment - apart from the possibility to rent a boat or a mountain bike. We have one small hotel with a restaurant that is open during the tourist season, one konoba (café) and a mini-market.
The village is unspoiled and safe. Children may run around without getting in trouble and the mix of local people and the guests is just right.

The holiday resort Klek is three kilometers to the south, and here you can find a more organized tourism.
Further five kilometers will take you to Neum, the only seaside town in Bosnia-Herzegovina where there are several big shops and hotels. In Klek and Neum, there is also a selection of restaurants and bars.
Klek is open from April to October. In Neum the restaurants, shops and department stores are open all year. On this website, we have detailed information about Komarna, the cities nearby and place worth a visit in South Dalmatia. This includes the holy place in Medjugorje, the world heritage site of Dubrovnik and the old city of Mostar.
In Komarna, you will find holiday apartments for a memorable holiday at the beach or an active vacation with sightseeing, walking and swimming. The village has different types of holiday accommodation with one, two or three bedrooms. All houses have a view of the sea, and they are all located very close to the sea - all less than 50 meters.
